The Geneva Flying Disk Wizards is an association founded in Geneva back in 1984. We have been the only active ultimate frisbee club in French-speaking Switzerland until 1999, when FlyHigh started playing in Lausanne. Ultimate has been on the rise in the last years in the region, with new teams in Neuchatel and Nyon, but we still are the only club in Geneva.

We currently count on about 80 active members, training with an open, a coed and a beginner team. We organize practices a few times per week and are actively attending tournaments all over Europe.

For the last 22 years, we have organized Talampaya, the biggest grass coed tournament in Europe, with 30 to 40 teams attending every year. Smaller events we have hosted include a Winter League, le Noctandisc (a night-time tournament), regional leagues with other French and French-Swiss teams and a few open ultimate demonstration days.
